The 2021 Cheshire Annual Town Census forms have been mailed.
The Census is mandated by Massachusetts General Law and is valuable to have a current and correct residential count. The population count is important to the Town to apply for State and Federal aid and grants. The school count is also valuable to the Hoosac Valley Regional School District.
Residents are asked to review, correct if necessary, sign, and return the form to the Town Clerk's office in the provided envelope. Please make sure that all who reside at your address are listed and that those not listed are added with all pertinent information, including dependent children. This form cannot be used to register to vote or to change political party enrollment.
Completed Census returns and Dog License forms must be either mailed to the Town Clerk or dropped off in the drop box located near the main entrance to Town Hall on the Church St. side of the building.
Any resident who does not receive a form should call the Town Clerk at (413) 743-1690 ext. 22 or email [email protected].
