The Town of Cheshire has contracted with LB Corp to perform various paving projects with work expected to start near the end of June.  The work will consist of preliminary pavement preparation and final road resurfacing.  Preliminary pavement preparation may include pavement excavation/milling, asphalt leveling, structure adjustments...Updates to the work schedule which is dependent on other contractor requirements and weather conditions will be posted to the website..  This $1,211,000 project is a result of grant funding and Chapter 90 funds.  Questions should be directed to the Highway Department at 413-743-3376.    A list of roads to be paved follows:

Stafford Hill Road from Wells Road intersection to gravel surface, Mill & Top

Mill Hill Road from Depot Street, Top Overlay

Depot Street from Church Street to Railroad Street, Mill & Top

Briggs Drive from Route 8, Shim & Top

Notch Road from Windsor Road, Top Overlay
