Please be advised that FY 2023 Real Estate Values have been increased due to our required sales analysis. The sales analyzed occurred during 2020 and 2021. Across the board: Land values were adjusted slightly down, while Residential buildings were increased using a single market adjustment. Chapter 61A values were updated according to the State Farmland Valuations.
Value grievances will be addressed through the abatement process. You will need to file an application NO LATER THAN November 1, 2022, after which the Assessors will schedule an appointment for a full interior inspection and exterior measurement (if applicable), to find any discrepancies. Please note that we are still seeing sale prices in 2022 that are higher than the FY 2023 adjusted values, so the ‘trend’ will not be adjusting values downward for next year
