A probable Cyanobacteria bloom has been detected on Cheshire Lake / Hoosac River.
As a precaution the Town of Cheshire Board of Health has advised that all people, pets and livestock stay away from any green/blue material floating on the lake. It could be dangerous to people and pets.
Samples have been taken to determine the toxin levels, as test results become available the public will be notified..
