Public Hearing Notice - Board of Health - Well Regulations
The Town of Cheshire, Board of Health will hold a public hearing on Monday October 5, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. located at Cheshire Town Offices, 191 Church Street, Cheshire MA 01225 to consider the adoption of the following regulations pursuant to its authority under MGL c. 111, Section 31.
Well Regulations: to regulate the construction, location, use, maintenance, and decommissioning of private wells within the Town of Cheshire for the protection of public health and safety, and charge a fee for such.
Copies of the proposed regulations are available for public review at Town Offices during regular business hours, Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 4 p.m. and may also be accessed at www.cheshire-ma.gov.
