The Town of Cheshire is calling a snow emergency from Sunday at 9 a.m. until Monday at 9 p.m. 

The Department of Public Works Highway asks all residents to avoid travelling during the storm if possible.  If travel is necessary, please yield to Highway Department crews and maintain a safe distance from all snow removal equipment.

If you encounter downed power lines, do not drive over them.  Seek an alternate route and report the hazard to the proper authorities by calling 911.

There is NO on street parking allowed, cars may be towed at the owners expense.

Town Buildings will be CLOSED on Monday January 26th.  The Ice Skating Rink will also be CLOSED until it can be properly cleared.
